I wonder if we can have one of these in our house (we live in California) as arachnoid tenents. We allow the cellar spiders (daddy longlegs) to live in our house and keep the fly population down, provided they don't get in the way where us eldritch giants tend to frequent. Like using the bathroom sink after finishing up business.

@MatthewEnoxSydney Funnel Web venom does almost nothing to Canines, Felines or rodents. However, despite Australia has no primates, Funnel Web venom is super toxic to central nervous system of all Primates, apes and humans.
@LoneWolf_Cub_Ogami_IttoThey're not the scariest.

@SpaceCase.5fsThe ending reminds me of when I tried opening a poolside umbrella in Florida and suddenly 2 frogs just fell on me because they were CHILLING IN THE CLOSED UMBRELLA. Just another scenario to account for when looking for huntsman spiders

@TansukoYokaiI’ll take the flies I would shit my self if I saw a huntsman
@Randomperson2413-c3ethe scarier thing about australia is that onions fly there
@momomonika12Florida, US has huntsman spiders too. Biggest spider in my home state is maybe about 2" fully extended. Never needed more than a small drinking glass to take them outside. My second day in Florida, I had to upgrade to a medium mixing bowl for the gargantuan huntsman on the shower wall.
But yeah, excellent pest control. When I was taking them outside, we were seeing roaches pretty regularly. No infestation or anything, but you'd see two or three in a day. When I stopped taking the huntsmen outside and just let them chill, you only found husks and pieces of roach. If you saw a living one, follow it for ten minutes and you will undoubtedly watch it become a not living one as a huntsman comes out of bum fucking nowhere and murders it with reckless abandon.
We have these spiders in Texas it bit my puppy.😅
@WhydoyoucareanymoreI do not care how harmless this is I'm gonna put a hole in the wall where it was with bird shot.
